IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR VISTORS
New Mexico Heritage Rail will be moving the former Santa Fe steam locomotive 2926 out of our restoration yard for the first time in over 20 years on May 6, 2023. Your Safety is very important to us please remember to:
1. Stay 25 feet back from the track at ALL times. As you would at any train station or bus stop, stay behind the line.
2. DO NOT trespass on private property.
3. Comply with directions provided to you by our staff and/or law enforcement.
4. To participate in a ground tour we strongly suggest that closed-toed shows are worn. If you wish to take part in a cab tour, you will be required to wear closed-toed shoes (e.g., no sandals, flip flops, etc.) as well as be physically able to climb up and down a ladder with little assistance.
5. Be courteous of and to those around you.
6. Have a safe and enjoyable time.
