To begin with there will be a New Member orientation on February 29th beginning at 0900 in the Reefer Office. Anyone who missed the two safety refresher classes this year will need to attend this orientation, at the very beginning, in order to continue working on the site. Memberships need to be also brought up to date.
The tool car is ready to roll west. The “Ticket to Ride” has been generated by Norfolk Southern and BNSF has been notified so they can email an invoice. NS has had the fee required wired to them on Thursday. I expect the car to be heading this way in a week or so.
More intricate work was done on the cab wood flooring. There are many obstructions and penetrations that must be addressed.
The electricians were working on the foam meter and the radio wiring.
We began again installing the pistons on Saturday, but were cut short due to light rain showers. Everything was put away and the crew left around noon.
Wednesday should be clear, but a bit chilly so we will attempt another try at the pistons. Hope to see those that can make it this week, and as always . . .
Keep on Steamin’,
