With the #1 driver air brake slack adjuster completed attention is turned to the one trailing truck slack adjuster which was stolen last year.
Parts for the slack adjuster and cab supports are being cut for later welding and assembly.
The hot water boiler feed pump supply piping work continues as well as interior cab painting, flexible staybolt plug removal, misc. parts cleaning, painting and sheet metal work.
Planing of the wood planks for the cab floor has begun which has revealed the attractive appearance of the wood. The boards, when finished, will be installed closer to the end of the restoration.
The two nominees for the Board of Directors were confirmed. Congratulations to Bob DeGroft and Gail Kirby for being re-elected.
