Work Session Status Week Ending 10/24/2015

Last Wednesday we were rained out so no work was performed. It rained most all day off and on, sometimes very hard.

Since Wednesday was lost we called a special work day on Friday. Most of the week was centered around locating tiny leaks at washout plugs, existing rigid staybolts and also flexible staybolt plugs. Strategies for those repairs are being formalized.

Elsewhere on site the fit-up of the new footboards is almost finished. When complete they will be removed and prepared for paint.

Sand dome welding continued and will most likely be completed this week. The welds will be ground smooth and prepared for paint.

Various other parts are being cleaned.

Please remember we start our Winter hours tomorrow starting at 9:00 AM working later in the afternoon if possible since our morning hours are being cut short. Of course all this with weather permitting. Daylight savings starts this Sunday morning.
